Job Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION: Provide direct support to the fabrication process in an effort to ensure quality of product while maintaining above average production rates.


  • Know, follow, and incorporate all SAFETY procedures.
  • Assist in the coordination and supervision of balloon production, utilizing knowledge of basic machine operation and advanced machine operation.
  • Assist in coordinating the scheduling of shift personnel to ensure proper staffing for the fabricating of balloon product.
  • Assist in providing appropriate labor management in relation to hiring, training, performance management, career development, and terminations.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of the facility including equipment and supplies. Recommend to management, equipment requirements and replacements in an effort to upgrade and maintain shift/department productivity and efficiency.
  • Prepare and generate any necessary reports.
  • Assist management in establishing budgets as required, and adhere to budget requirements.
  • Collaborate with relative departments in an effort to implement programs related to work simplification, cost reduction, etc.
  • Maintain current with respect to technical and supervisory skills by attending training classes, technical courses, and seminars as needed.
  • Perform the duties of the Shift Supervisor when necessary.

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in machine operation with some Lead/Supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively lead a variety of individuals at varying skill levels.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer experience with the ability to adapt computer knowledge to new programs.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  • High School education or equivalent. Post High School education is preferred.
