Job Description

Position Overview:

Customer Service Representatives are the direct point of contact for customers. They are responsible for ensuring that Party City customers receive a superior level of support or help with their placing orders, resolving issues or any questions they may have.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products or services
  • Communicate with customers through a variety of means, telephone, email, and chat
  • Help Customers navigate site to assist in choosing products to best suit their needs
  • Aid customers in completing purchases and transactions and drive incremental sales
  • Gain product knowledge to be able to answer customer inquiries
  • Customer Service dispatching and tracking -- tracks calls to Customer Service line
  • Take appropriate action to assist customers with issues that arise with purchases made and follow all issues through to completion
  • Maintain department processes and policies during all situations
  • Assist Leadership with other projects as needed

Job Requirements

Position Requirements:

  • Basic PC skills
  • Order Motion experience a plus
  • Salesforce experience a plus
  • Able to multi task
  • Familiarity with web-based ordering systems
  • Proficient in telephone etiquette
  • Pleasant and friendly demeanor
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Superior communication skills
  • Excellent Problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently within specific time constraints
  • Prior inbound customer service experience preferred
