Job Overview
The Associate Project Specialist will provide project management support to ensure projects are completed within budget and on time. A key member of the project team, this Associate Project Specialist will participate in product development, sharing project details and updates, and serve as an active participant in the project. Projects may include, but are not limited to, setup and management of new and existing products, preparation of price quotes to partners, and data integrity maintenance. The Specialist will also provide assistance to the Director as required.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist with the implementation of programs and projects including but not limited to coordinating project activities, collaborating with team members, and monitoring progress toward achievement.
  • Assist with preparing meeting agendas, document key decisions and collaborate with team members to develop collateral, and disseminate work plans, project documents, progress reports and presentations.
  • Actively participate in the facilitation of meetings, contribute to planning and coordination of project resources, and liaise with key stakeholders to collect and disseminate project information.
  • Perform data verifications for product programs with input and guidance from Party City merchandise, Amscan wholesale, and customer service teams.
  • Responsible for vendor portal management and vendor communications
  • Manage communications with Party City merchandise team, Amscan product management, and customer service teams.
  • Resolve pricing issues with coordination of all necessary parties
  • Maintain multiple items simultaneously across various product lines
  • Assist with creating new SKUs in Amscan database, including coordination with source vendors and internal teams.
  • Assist in the maintenance of item files, ensuring data integrity, in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and financial systems

Qualifications

  • BA in business or related field experience required
  • College experience or 1-2 years' experience in project management required
  • General knowledge of project management
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
