Job Overview

Enterprise Architects lead the design, build the layout, mapping and user-interfaces for web, desktop, and mobile applications to make the information displayed clearer and easier to use. Enterprise Architects use analytical thinking and creativity to develop, communicate and implement technology architecture for organizations. They design how users experience websites and applications. Enterprise Architects usually work with a team of designers, researchers, and developers to groom and design user stories and ensure compliance to architectural standards. This role directly reports to the Chief Information Officer.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Planning and envisioning technology architecture by studying the needs of the target audience aligned with the site goals, corporate strategy, opportunities, and constraints.
  • Creating user flow scenarios with a focus on information structure, dataflow, consumer journey workflow, and navigation
  • Producing workflow diagrams, user scenarios, flowcharts, and storyboards and from those creating page layouts, navigation rules, organization of information, and site maps
  • Evaluating traffic patterns, studying user feedback, coordinating with usability team members
  • Validating information delivery including through results of usability test plans
  • Perform periodic code reviews to ensure compliance to standards.

Job Requirements

  • Previous database management experience
  • 8-10 years of coding experience in an object-oriented language
  • Strong knowledge of design patterns and architectures
  • Must have a strong understanding of the architecture of one or more of the following systems: Sterling OMS, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, AWS technologies (API Gateway, Kinesis Streams, etc.)
  • Ability to plan and analyze large quantities of complex data.
  • Feels comfortable presenting technical information to groups.
  • Extensive problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage several tasks at once.
  • Experience compiling Ad Hoc Reports.
  • Strategic planning and data modeling knowledge
  • Broad understanding of data maintenance processes
